media; pastel. Size 19"x24". Ceedi was working in Brighton as a stone carver when he sat for this portrait. I was struck by how hard it was for him, working in a strange country to support his family in Zimbabwe, knowing they were in danger. This portrait was exhibited in the Mall Galleries in December 2008, for Sue Ryder Care
