I finished my second Poppies picture. this time I worked on some black paper. I have been using Fischer 400 as I love the sandpaper texture for holding the pastel and allowing me to really build up layers. I found this paper which is the same sandpepr type grade as the Fischer but made for wet and dry sandpaper work! It stood up really well but I felt the back was a bit overwhelming at times! I am pleased with the final result. I will have it scanned for prints and also try it copied onto canvas.

P.S. the canvas print was very disappointing - somewhat blurry and too much of the original lost.
