As part of the South Downs Art Society, I entered 2 pictures in the Annual Art exhibition in the Friends Meeting House in Brighton Lanes. I was delighted to be awarded the Arts Council cup for picture of the year after my picture, 'Little Girl Lost' received the most votes by members of the public, as their favourite picture.
